Soba restaurant Tagoto was founded in 1868 in Sanjo, Kyoto where the Meiji Restoration took place.
It is said that Tokube I learned how to make Soba from the chief priest of Daiko-ji temple which was famous for Soba jizo. Since then, we have been appointed many times to contribute Soba for the court nobility more than 100 years. We have carried on the tradition of food culture and created a new taste at the same time.
